Di Grassi was involved with the Spanish team in the past when he drove for them in 2008, in the GP2 Series that season. He had a tremendous season finishing in 3rd position overall, making a great fightback due to the fact that he hadn’t even taken part in the first six races. Nevertheless, he was one of the key factors that ensured the team winning the constructor’s championship that season.

I was very happy here and I achieved important objectives with them in 2008. Now I’m back to offer my services especially in the sports area. I’m looking forward to working on a Project which is a genuine platform for Young drivers and I will try to help them with technical and tactical preparation, give them information concerning the circuits, race strategy etc. The idea is to help these young talents make progress, as they are the future of motor-racing. I believe GP3 is the future of Junior formula as it precedes GP2 and it should get stronger each year.”
