Three drivers were penalised following Race 1 in Hockeneheim for not "having their wheels fitted before the three-minute signal".
Kevin Ceccon (Ocean Racing Technology) was given a ten second time penalty stop and go but as this penalty was imposed after the race, 30 seconds will be added to the driver's time. Therefore Ceccon who did finish on the podium, now loses his points and Trident Racing's Giovanni Venturini now finishes third.
Alex Brundle (Carlin) and Robert Visoiu (Jenzer Motorsport) both were given ten second stop/go penalties during the race. However after the race, the duo were excluded from the Race Results after failing to comply with a requirement to take a 10 second penalty within two laps of the penalty being imposed (although they both complied by entering the pitlane and stopping for 10 seconds, but did so under safety car conditions). Both drivers have been excluded from the result in race 1.
