Following contact between Tio Ellinas and Kevin Ceccon on the final lap of Valencia Race 2, stewards have issued the Marussia Manor Racing driver with a one second time penalty which will drop him from third place to fifth. Matias Laine now finished in third with Kevin Ceccon in fourth. The stewards declared that Ellinas forced Ceccon off track.
On lap one Conor Daly (Lotus GP) was involved in an incident with John Wartique and subsequently neither driver finished. The American received a ten place grid penalty which will be enforced in Silverstone Race 1.
